Accounting  - The Department of Accountancy offers a major in accountancy within the bachelor of business administration degree. In addition to the BBA, ETSU also offers a Master of Accountancy degree.

Economics/Finance-Urban Studies - The Department of Economics, Finance and Urban Studies is unique in the College of Business & Technology in that it offers both business and non-business degree programs. The primary purpose of the department is to provide a pragmatic, interdisciplinary education for students who wish to enter business or governmental service, or pursue postgraduate studies in business, economics, law, or public management.

Management/Marketing - The Management program offers study leading to the bachelor of business administration degree with a major in management. Management majors must select one of three concentrations in Human Resources Management, Operations Management, or General Management.  The marketing program offers study leading to a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in marketing.

Computer & Information Sciences - The Department of Computer and Information Sciences has the goal of producing outstanding computing professionals, contributing significant advancements in the computing sciences, and providing notable professional service to the academic and general communities.

Military Science - Military Science offers:  Leadership experience and training for business or military careers, new LT's are assigned as platoon leaders in charge of 30 or more soldiers with equipment valued over a million dollars;  guaranteed job at the end of your college career, 2LT's make over $30,000 a year with raises every two years; help with current monthly finances through a stipend or tuition assistance, scholarship students receive up to $400 a month for living expenses, SMP students can receive up to $1000 a month in monthly stipends; guaranteed travel with numerous military assignments within the United States, Europe and the World.

Technology & Geomatics- The Department of Technology & Geomatics mission statement is to recruit, retain, educate and support articulate, ethical and knowledgeable leaders in technology through a continuously improving, multidisciplinary process of lifelong discovery and scholarship.  The Geomatics Department was restructured in Spring 2003. Geography and Geomatics moved to join the Technology Department and Geology joined with Physics.   The B.S. degree in geography and the B.S. degree in surveying and mapping science, are now being offered through the Department of Technology and Geomatics. The degree in geology is being offered through the Physics, Astronomy and Geology department.
