Brief Biography
Kelly Price completed her Ph.D. in Human Ecology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in the Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism Department with a concentration in Retail and Consumer Sciences (2004). She completed her Master's Degree in Professional Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from East Tennessee State University (2001). She also received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Fashion Merchandising from East Tennessee State University (1995). Her fellowships and awards at the University of Tennessee included: Doctoral Graduate Teaching Assistantship (2001-2004) and Grant Recipient of the Graduate Teaching Associate @ Information Technology Center entitled: "International Retailing: Virtual Visits." (2004). She was also a Research Assistant during her Master's study at ETSU.

Professional Experience
Her professional experience includes twelve years of retail management including Softlines Manager with Kmart Corporation and Buyer/Merchandiser for The Broadmoor Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs, CO.
Her professional affiliations are: The American Marketing Association (national and local chapters) and the Marketing Management Association where she has made numerous conference presentations with each organization. She currently serves as a College of Business and Technology Faculty Senator and is the current Faculty Advisor to Sigma Kappa Sorority at ETSU.
