- The use of Computer Assisted Instruction tools to improve learning in Management technology courses.
Brief Biography
Dr. Quigley has been teaching management and information systems courses since 1979. He received his Ph.D. from Georgia State University and taught at the University of Louisville for 6 years prior to coming to ETSU in 1984. He loves teaching and enjoys the professional interaction with his students. He has a strong orientation to service to the university. He has been the Faculty Senate President and the Faculty Athletics Representative. He has received the college teaching award once the college service award twice.
Personal Information
Dr. Quigley is happily married to his wife, Sandy, and has 6 children/step children and 6 grandchildren. He is actively involved in his church. Dr. Quigley enjoys working in the garden and yard. He really likes cutting the grass. He loves animals and has a dog and two cats. He is a gadget geek and sometimes that gets him in trouble at home. He recently began teaching on-line courses and finds it challenging to interact with students who cannot be seen. He also had difficulty giving up the chalk board in favor of the dry erase marker board in that he can no longer scratch his fingernails on the board to gain attention!!
