The Official ETSU student chapter of the Financial Management Association International

To join the Students of Finance Association, East Tennessee State University's student chapter of the Financial Management Association International simply attend one of our meetings and request to become a member or contact us at ETSU_SOFA@msn.com.  Applications may also be picked up and returned to the Department Office in Room 227.  SOFA has a distribution box there.  Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students.

To join Students of Finance Association and be in the FMA International Honors Society there are additional requirements:

 

Undergraduate Students
 

• 3.25 GPA in finance and finance-related coursework
• Completion of nine (9) hours of finance courses
• A declared major or minor finance
• Junior or Senior class standing

 

Graduate (MBA) Students
 

• 3.50 Overall GPA

or
 

• 3.50 GPA in finance and finance-related coursework
• Completion of one-half of required coursework
